"Growing up on the north border of Detroit it was only a matter of time before Jerry Downey became infected with the voodoo rhythms of Detroit techno. After organizing several DIY shows in his early teen years, Downey eventually started throwing underground dance parties at the tender age of nineteen. Fusing the sounds of disco/boogie classics with a contemporary approach toward House music, Downey can bring a sexy vibe to even the ugliest dance floors.

With a slew of local underground events under his belt Downey has shared the stage with the likes of Jimpster, Jimmy Edgar and Leisure System’s Ned Beckett. Look out for “Far Side Disco Edits” dropping in 2013."
