No Behaviour is the brand new project by Peckham Fly and El Prevost [Third Ear] that has one simple ethos; to never put limitations on musical genre or style. No Behaviour will be teaming up with Flood and we aim to reflect the same ethos on the night through a diverse yet harmonized line up.
Dandy Jack, aka Martin Schopf, is one of the most talented musicians and behind-the-scenes organizer in both Chile and Germany. Worldwide renowned, as much for his productions as for his main influence on the electronic movement since 1989, he is one of the pioneers of electronic music since the beginning. For a long period of time, there was a constant change in his place of residence, which definitely had an influence on his music. In Santiago, in 1996, he created the Microman Club together with Adrian Schopf (DJ Adrian), which apart from being a club became a nucleus for many electronic events such as Encuentro de la Technocultura. After that, he became the head of Mutek Chile, considered as the best-evaluated Electronic Arts Festival of South Canada. Following Subrosa Elektropunk and the reclamation of the intercontinental Zone Industriel in the 80’s, Dandy Jack together with his World Citizen colleague, Atom Heart aka Uwe Schmidt, designed Particle-House structures under the project Gon (Señor Coconut).
In 1989, Dandy Jack created the Band Sieg über die Sonne, together with Tobias Freund, taking part in Germany’s Electronic Evolution from the day of its creation until today.
As a musician he released many individual projects such as Dandy Jack and the Cosmic Trousers in 1997, Dandy Jack and the Plastic Women in 1998 - both for the label Rather Interesting - or Dandy Jack and the Latin Lava in 2001 and Dandy Jack and the Junction SM 2004 both on Perlon. Many of his projects intensify the link between electronic music and Latin sounds and rhythms. On the other hand, Dandy Jack has developed a wide range of musical styles until today, which is the proof of his genius understanding of music and of his passion for electronic sounds. This unique vision of multiplicity of sounds and bounding took him to develop many different projects with other a range of amazing artists, such as:
Dandy Jack is also part of the Ricardo Villalobos founded project Narod Niki. Narod Niki which is a jam laptop supergroup with Dandy Jack, Dimbiman, Luciano, Daniel Bell, Cabanne, Richie Hawtin, Akufen and Ricardo Villalobos and many more.
Hailing from the leafy home counties and connecting with music at a young age, Tim Hopgood AKA Ethyl, displays a musical knowledge and affinity for the groove far beyond his 25 years. Like many of today's finest, Tim has tapped into the mentality of the dance floor, crafting impeccable selections for hypnotic effect. These skills have seen him win slots at the Capital's underground hotspots, across the UK and at Ibiza's most prestigious venues before a production had even dropped.
Sassanids EP, Ethyl's first production smash, with Huxley, on Cécille Numbers set the bar high and their follow up, The White EP on Tsuba sent the pair chugging rapidly up the house pile. Capping off an explosive production flurry with a release on the revered Freerange imprint, this time behind the desk with Flori, marked 2009/10 as landmark years for him.
Ethyl's natural affinity with the floor and devotion to sound design already place him among the hottest emergent talent. Now highly in demand from the UK and Europe for his tightly programmed, smoothly mixed sets have already seen him share bills with Ame and join a select group of DJs to have represented at London's secretsundaze.
Yet again, Kanaka Project will be flying in from their Rome studios to complement our music feast with their unique and tasteful manipulation of light effects.
