Will Saul has played as integral a part in the UK’s house & techno scene as pretty much anyone over the last decade. A name synonymous with quality whether it be the output from his two labels AUS and Simple; production work remixing for names such as Scuba, Little Dragon and The Juan Maclean or simply as a damn fine DJ, Will Saul is the man.
In the last couple of years he’s released seminal ep’s from such names as Joy Orbison, BICEP, Midland, Dusky, George Fitzgerald and commissioned remixes from MCDE, Dixon, Steffi, I:Cube, you get the idea. In our book this makes him probably one of the most relevant and talented A&R’s we have. All this bodes very well for his first trip to Nottingham in like absolutely ages. Bring it!
Manchester-based producer xxxy (born Rupert Taylor) is known for refining the propulsive, foot-forward sound of UK garage. Over the past year he has been quietly building a solid reputation with milestone releases on Infrasonics and Fortified Audio, as well as featuring on the seminal Fabric compilation “Elevator Music”. With further releases set to come on labels such as Doc Daneeka’s Ten Thousand Yen and Well Rounded, and a host of UK and European shows – it’s in little doubt that xxxy is leaving a lasting impression on the UK underground and therefore makes him an excellent guest for Zleep.
