PATRICK BODHI & FRANKIE J DICKENS (Jeudi Rec./Union Jack Rec.)
Patrick Bodhi and Frankie J Dickens, two London based producers who were brought together through their love of bass, groove, melody and philosophy which together laid the foundations for a distinct new sound and ethos. Both from the cultural boiling pot known as London, they have both been reared on a wide range of musical movements that inherently emerged and evolved around them, the influence shining through in their productions and deep & energetic DJ sets. Their breakthrough came when their Deep Disco bomb 'Same Old Story' was championed by the likes of Solomun and Adana Twins to name a few and amidst the hype that followed, signed and released it to Adana Twins' Hamburg based label Jeudi Records. Sure to follow up in style, 2013 has just seen them release their Monstrous remix of Luis Leon’s 'Everyday Ain't forever' with early support from artists such as Adana Twins, Karmon, Doctor Dru, Ben Pearce, Monte and many more. Patrick and Frankie are continuing to tour and showcase their unique sound whilst also working on both new solo and duo releases for some well respected labels due later this year.
