Following the massive success of their first collaboration, Man Make Music and Bruk return to Corsica Studios - two rooms, two Funktion 1 soundsystems - different tones, different feelings but same positive vibes and big sounds.

Man Make Music bring the hype: fresh from releasing a massive 12" and curating the 'England Story' compilation on Soul Jazz Records, we present The Heatwave. Skull Juice will bump jack and fidget in the house, Cotti will bring his unique brand of conscious JA-inflected dubstep, while 1xtra's DJ Cameo will be terrorising the dancefloor with bassline house and grime. Residents will be playing all around the place, doing whatever necessary to move the crowd!

Meanwhile, in Bruk's room, 'Blending the oddly cerebral and the slyly sensual', Portable aka Bodycode will be fusing his existential pop to the pounding rhythms and tones of Africa and Chicago, raising beseeching divas, whirlwinds of acid, melancholic organs and sirening theremin in his hair-raising live-set. Latest Hyperdub signing Darkstar will showcase their unique brand of psychedelic garage-infused dubstep; jacking and shuddering beats and bass through hazy synthesis, skittering keys and elegiac vocodered strains. Finally Hessle Audio's Untold will be playing it murky and rolling for the tribal dub-techno-step massif. Joining the dots will be a number of faceless djs bringing selection from disco to dub techno to dark 2step garage to rolling techno to minimal house to US garage to acid house.
