Bank Holiday Sunday 4th May, New Slang presents...
At the last New Slang presents..., with Metronomy, Eddy Temple Morris played one of the best received sets of any we've seen. Playing everything from Candi Statton to Rage Against The Machine the word 'eclectic' doesnt even come close. He finished his set screaming on the mic "Fucking great Kingston, I'll definitely be back" and true to his word he is back to headline our next electro / dance party. Chucking everything into the mixer from bootlegs and mashups to rock, electro and even drum n bass, this is a peak time set from the XFM / MTV DJ and we're stoked to have him back..
And our other headliner is Fulham based jokes rapper Example who will be playing live. His album is great fun and really entertaining and some of the lyrics will have you laughing out loud. We're sure his live show is gonna go down an absolute storm! Can't wait!
We've also got David E Sugar doing a set. A really exciting electro artist, with releases on Kitsune, this is gonna be awesome.
And we've got South Central playing live here for the first time! When they've been here before they have given some awesome DJ sets, so we're really looking forward to seeing their live show! If you've heard any of their own tracks, you'll know why! It's gonna be bangin'.
And also doing a set we've got Nightmoves. He's done remixes for Klaxons, Friendly Fires, Shit Disco, and even Robbie Williams before, and we can't wait to hear what he plays.
And there's plenty more still yet to be confirmed...
