The Tanners is one of Newcastle's most original and no bulls*it pubs - having been lovingly run by the best thing to come out of Halifax since Big Daddy, Daz Goodwin for the last 10 years, it's healthy mix of quality ales, great pool table and a music policy of "if it's good, it's getting played" has attracted a broad spectrum of punters, from crusty ravers, east end wide boys, dressed up clubbers to disbelieving 'this looks like a quiet sort of pub, let's nip in for a drink while our table at Chiquitos gets sorted' out of towners - only to walk in to be hit by something blasting out the speakers, like a Jeff Mills record or some Deep House, courtesy of Big Daz, after he's nipped upstairs to grab a handful of records he'd bought that day from Flying.

Seeing as though it's 10 years since we all hooked up, we felt it was only right to celebrate the birthdays of original Reverb Techno Titans (or twerps) Justin Mills and Antony Daly in The Tanners.

So we'll be digging through our collections to bring you some of the finest musical moments from the last 20 years or so...From classic Chicago House, through to Detroit Techno and beyond...
