Line-up /Eric Gray (Zero G Sounds, Unlockedgroove)
Jen Lusker (Wax Dolls)
Eric Gray is a recent NYC addition, joining us from Boston where he was a leading force in the underground Techno scene. Inspired by the likes of Jeff Mills, Laurent Garnier and Dan Bell, Eric is known for creating seamless collages of stripped-down minimalist elements atop hard beats and deep rhythms. Having already scored gigs at The Bunker and some local parties, Eric’s reputation for pushing the edge-of-his-limits precedes him; his fast-paced mixing coupled with live re-arrangement, effects and manipulation gives his modern sonic vocabulary a classic Techno feel. To name a few, he's played alongside Dan Bell, Bruno Pronsato, Fred Giannelli (aka Kooky Scientist) and Alex Under. You never know what Eric's going to perform - from classic Detroit techno to tech-house, tribal or minimal. One thing is for certain, he'll leave you sweaty, exhausted and wanting more.
With a collegiate background in electrical engineering, and traveling the world over, Jen Lusker brings a unique blend of experience to her DJing. Born in Seoul, Korea, this NYC based DJ grew up living in many countries abroad - taking in all things audible from a young age. It was when she was living in Germany that she was first drawn to electronic music. Techno giants such as Cari Lekebusch & Jeff Mills would inspire her to want to move people on the dance floor - however it was when she landed NYC’s club, the Vinyl, that she caught the underground house bug. Years of hard work have paid off as this cosmopolitan DJ has now since been rocking parties left and right – having opened and played aside DJ's such as DJ Heather, Colette, Mazi, Marques Wyatt, Asad Rizvi, Charles Feelgood, Jesse Saunders and more. Her skills have been developed over a number of years in which she was involved with studio engineering work at Plusgood Studios, guest dj spots on shows as Proton Radio, and currently, music production. Jen has played in cities that include Quebec City, New Orleans, Las Vegas, Baltimore, Miami and Houston. Recently moving to New York in the fall 2004, Jen has found a place where she can continue to embrace her love of music and do what she loves to do best - share that love by connecting with people in the club through her elegant mixing and sultry track selection. New York venues include Sullivan Room, Sol, the Frying Pan, Climax, and Le Souk to name a few.
