JAMES CURD - GREENSKEEPERS (CHICAGO)

"Jackinsexychicagofuturistictechfunkhouse." This is what the kids from Big Ben to the Windy City are calling the music stylings of James Curd. He is a man on a mission bringing his unique Greenkeepers sound to the world. James and The Greenskeepers captured the imaginations of house heads world-over with their '30s swing and unique blend of jazz, ragtime and funk. Their records gained acclaim from performers as diverse as Pete Tong, DJ Sneak, Derrick Carter and Laurent Garnier. Not one to rest on their laurels the band has now exclusively written music for one of the biggest games ever Grand Theft Auto IV which is featured in its advertising campaign. Oozing charisma when DJing, you cannot find a better guide for a musical mystery tour. If the live performance of the band at last years Parklife is any indicator, then this will be one hell of a DJ set. You'll be spoilt for choice as ex Chicago cohort Jorge Watts will be releasing his new and much anticipated EP for US house titans 1200 Traxx in a special house and tech fusion set.

We also have on show Adelaide rising house phenomena Sonny Fodera of Greenhouse & Lingo notoriety joining the crew for the night to showcase the depth of talent that we have in this fair city. He joins long time Adelaide house player and Deep founder Ezee G plays who plays alongside Tech-Phonics co-founder and resident Lachlan Pender, Deep resident Ben James with special guest Bos on sax and Will Smerdon.
