MUAK - Saturday 20th September - 54 Shoreditch

Saturday 20th September sees Muak (People Together) welcome Demarkus Lewis, Dallas’s very own Don of House Music, to perform an exclusive headline set at London’s Bar 54.

Joining Demarkus Lewis on the night will be Muak residents Zaki and Manish, People Like Us and Kellilicious for another night of spills and thrills and real house music.

A driving force behind today’s house music sound and a key player in the evolution of its future direction, Demarkus Lewis has come a long way in the last 16 years.

From his start as a DJ in 1990, to the beginning of his production career in 2000, he had already established himself as a Dallas favourite. Now with over 100 quality house music releases in the last eight years and a reputation for destroying dance floors worldwide, it’s clear why he is one now established as one of house music’s most sought-after performers and producers.

With key releases on labels such as Moods & Grooves, Bluem, Roam, and Alluv Recordings and Dema, Demarkus’ music has received support from Diz, Joshua, Music For Freaks, David Duriez, Phil Weeks, Phonique, Lady D, Hipp-e, Doc Martin, and DJ Heather to name a few.

Putting together the finishing touches to the latest Muak party, organiser Zaki Lais said: “With yet another UK exclusive from one of House music’s most consist DJ’s and producers, it looks like it going to be another cracking night. Get down early, it’s going to be a big one.”

Muak (People Together) takes place on Saturday 20th September from 10.00pm to 8.00am at Bar 54, 54 Commercial Street, London E1.

Admission is £5.00 with flyer before 11.30pm and £10.00 thereafter.

Launched in 2003, Muak (People Together) is the night of choice for those who love the real sound of deep house music and is now one of London’s biggest underground club nights.
