TIM GALE, Darko, Rupeski, Prof. Stretch, Mr.Rakas, Ty - Fi, Paul Lindley, CUSHCloser returns to Hidden in Vauxhall for our final party of 2008 and it promises to be another great night of original techno music. Our special guest will be the one and only Speedy J who will be making a rare visit to the UK to play at Closer. Speedy J has been at the forefront of the techno scene for over 15 years and has recorded for labels like Plus 8, Music Man, Warp and Novamute, so we’re very excited to have the Dutch master join us. Also playing will be Ben Sims, one of the heroes of the UK scene and the man behind the Split parties – Ben played an impromptu set for Closer last year, but this time around he’ll be in full effect.
Support comes from resident Steve Strawberry who is fast becoming one of the leading lights of the London techno scene and other young guns coming up from the underground. Expect two rooms of music, top quality sound and visuals brought in specially in for the night, decent drink prices and continental opening hours running from midnight to morning, and you have a party to be reckoned. Unrestricted, unrestrained techno – just the way we like it.
