Thu, 07 May 2009this was my first festival outside Europe that i went to. The things i really liked was the location (beautiful palmtrees and mountains), the climate and the logistics (everything was really well located en easy to walk). Musically there was also nothing to complain with Junior Boys, Tv on the Radio and Fleet Foxes playing brilliantly.

The bands and deejays I enjoyed were often different from the ones my friends liked. My point is the person that 'reviewed' the festival has no writing skills. This is a shame because Coachella is the most highly regarded and diverse music festival the U.S. has and while attracting a crowd from throughout California and the rest of the country many people now come to it from other... More

What a risable attempt at a review. If you are going to cover North America's most important music festival please send one of your better writers to Coachella. I was there and I've got to say the Chemical Brother's deejay set was one of the most ferocious 90 minutes of music i've heard ever. MSTRKRFT were left with the unenviable task... More
