JAMES HOLROYD (Basics / Bugged Out!)
Plus Ian Blevins (Space, Ibiza / Ward10)
First off, cheers for everyone who came down for the Jamie Jones party last month. Cracking do, and Jamie will be back up for us soon. Geddin.
After putting on parties in the Cities clubs and bars, pubs and restaurants, galleries and cliff tops, we come together to celebrate our 7th birthday. How we've lasted we'll never know and some might say we should have left it alone ages ago, but fuck it. Someones gotta put a little rave on in town so it might as well be us. For the birthday we wanted to book a guest who has rocked the party before and knows what we're about and James fits the bill perfectly. One of the finest DJ's in the UK who is right on his game at the minute (ask any Basics regular), and a true unsung hero of the scene. Anyone who has held residencies at two of the most important clubs in the UK for the last 17 or so years must be doing something right!
An original resident of the legendary Leeds institution, Back to Basics, as well as the much loved Manc rave up...Bugged Out!, not to mention being the Chemical Brothers worldwide support DJ since the mid 90's, James brings his deep Detroit and Chicago influenced House and Techno sound to Ward10.
Get down early doors and make use of the cheaper entrance price, get on the punch, get on the floor, raise your glasses, stamp your feet, then fall ower.
See you's down the front.
