Purrfect returns to its new monthly slot at Space in Leeds with a bad boy line up of tomorrow’s artists making their mark today; enter Jaimie Fanatic and Mikey Dalton.
Those who haven't spun a Jaimie Fanatic or gone nuts to one of his original productions must have been living under a rock for the past two years. Known as the bad boy of Dutch house music, Jaimie is tipped by many as one of the most important new talents emerging both from his home country and on a global level. Remixing for Fatboy Slim,Calvin Harris and tracks charted and supported by Armand van Helden, Diplo, Laidback Luke, Junior Sanchez, Felix the Housecat, Riva Starr, John Aquaviva, Crookers, Trevor Loveys and more. His shows are energetic, featuring plenty of crowd interaction with a permanent smile. Jaimie’s sound is a deadly cross-over of house, booty shaking rhythms and anything that bangs, with a touch of hip hop thrown in for good measure.
Mikey Dalton is steadily rising up the DJ ranks to much acclaim and finally completes his crossover from celebrity DJ to the underground. With his funk riddled, electro house sound and new co-productions with Jon Fitz & Jason Herd, Mikey has definitely got something fresh to offer, so look out! Main room support comes from residents Twisted Development and the irrepressible Bombermen.
