On Saturday, November 22nd Immerse presents their second installation of sound blending artists. Don of Chicago's house/tech-house Mazi and head honcho of Mobilee Records Ralf Kollmann are taking over the newly upgraded sound system at Studio B.

Immerse has been created by the minds behind reSOLUTE events with the desire to bring house and tech-house artists to New York's clubs, contrary to reSOLUTE which for the past year has been bringing minimal techno artists to underground (loft, boat, and yard) spaces. The guys behind both of these events are committed to excellence, which you can testify for if you have been to an event.

Mazi is an artist of many names. Other than his dj name he has produced under names such as Audio Soul Project and Studio Nova. You may have heard one of his releases on Dessous, Systematic, Urbantorque, Circle Music, SAW or Brique Rouge, or one of his collaborations with David Duriez, Justin Lon, or Kyle Szmurlo. If you haven't heard Mazi yet, do not make another mistake and miss him again.

Ralf Kollmann is a man of few words but many works. Even though he hasn't evolved into a world of productions he keeps busy by running one of the most cutting edge labels, Mobilee Records. His DJ sets are known for driving, percussive sessions within full body-moving minimal techno, resonant deep house, and an occasional curve ball. As if running a label and traveling around the world is not enough, Kollmann also holds a monthly residency at Berlin's Weekend Club, where he and his Label partner Anja Schneider have created a platform for label mates and like-minded musicians to explore their deepest, most hedonistic side.

Prior to their recent re-opening, Studio B has made some major improvements to their interior design and staff. Along with a brand new sound installed by TurboSound, the layout of the club has changed providing more comfortable seating and a larger, spacious dance area. The roof of the club is under construction, and once finished it will provide one of the most unique party spaces NYC has ever seen, with a retractable glass roof and panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline.
