DONUTS PARTY, hailing from San Francisco and Los Angeles, is throwing a DFA New Project Premiere Party this week at Berlin's SCALA to debut two new DFA live acts. On Thursday November 20th, GAVIN RUSSOM will perform as BLACK METEORIC STAR using a full table of analog synths and more to create a darkly psychedelic and motorik acid journey. Then JUAN MACLEAN will perform with visual accompaniment by ALISON CHILDS (Donuts resident video artist). Their project together is a new psychedelic visual live acid disco house party featuring analog audio and digital video. DJs PLASTIQUE DE REVE (DFA) and HUGO CAPABLANCA (Discos Capablanca) will start and maintain the dance party with visuals by Blitzproject (Berlin) and AC (Donuts) throughout the night. There will be free hand-made donuts and a raging dance floor all night long with a closing DJ set from JUAN MACLEAN. PLEASE WEAR ALL WHITE BITTE.
