Ken Christensen's lifelong involvement with music translates into a versatile talent for playing a wide range of instruments. A talented drummer, pianist, bass and sax player, he grew up listening to a variety of music, from the classic tunes of Motown to the groundbreaking records of early Chicago house. This Washington DC native and critically acclaimed DJ/producer is getting set to bring his innovative and refreshing blend of house music to your city.

After taking some time off to recover from deep vein thrombosis, a serious illness common for frequent air travelers, Ken returned recently with his remix of Bougie Soliterre's "Got The Bug" (licensed to Mark Farina and DJ Heather's OM CDs) along with new originals like "Wrong Crowd" on Alphabet Music (alphabet-music.com). He has plans for a solo tour as well as special reunion dates with East Coast Boogiemen in support of his upcoming releases on Alphabet Records.

Ken's a proficient DJ/producer bringing crowds to a frenzy worldwide with his hot blend of deep disco, bangin' house and quality vocal tracks. "A good DJ will read a crowd and figure out where it wants to be taken within the first ten minutes of their set. A good DJ will know how to hook the audience in – and then, when everyone is in the right state, introduce new material and start the real part of the journey.
