Blaze of Glory starts the new year as it means to go on, with residents BEN TERRY & MATTY J firmly at the controls, studiously ignoring any unrealistic resolutions made a week earlier. A long overdue extended session from the Tirk boys promises a mixture of some of their tried & tested records from 2008, a true showcase of those that did the business on dancefloors from Bestival to Berlin last time out. Italo disco rubs shoulders with plucked bassline boogie, acid house jostles balearic classics in the queue for the cloakroom, whilst a rogueish disco edit feels up some deep house in the corner. Disgraceful.
