In 2008, the bi-monthly Night Slugs parties were host to such global bass DJs as Drop The Lime & the Trouble & Bass Crew, Dexplicit, Silverlink, Lil Silva, Ikonika, TRC, Oneman and Tomb Crew.

Night Slugs' unique music policy brings you the global gutter house and heavy bass cutting edge - whether it's funky, grime, bassline, bmore, jackin' ghetto house or dubstep. They offer a unique, trend-setting blend of the classic and the brand new.

KODE9
Visionary garage producer and a godfather of the dubstep scene, Kode 9 is maverick producer, DJ and boss of the shadowy Hyperdub label. 9 is responsible for some of the heaviest and most forward-thinking garage and dubstep releases of the decade, introducing the world to the critically-acclaimed Burial amongst others.
His heavily experiential, deep and experimental DJ sets are the stuff of legend, and NIGHT SLUGS can't wait to have him.

MAK10
An old-skool and pirate radio legend, NASTY Crew's DJ Mak10 is amongst the greatest grime DJs to have ever lived. In 2008 Mak10 turned his attention to the UK House scene and since then there's been no stopping him. With the freshest dubs and a pedigree few can argue with, Mak10 represents the very freshest of the UK Funky scene.

D MALICE
Dubplate Malice or simply D Malice is responsible for one of last year's biggest underground hits - the Gabrielle Refix - which saw many a dancefloor nationwide drop down low. D Malice is from the UK Funky scene but his beats occupy the enthralling territory where grime meets house, a sound that's both melodic and deadly.

JACKMASTER
Glaswegian Jackmaster is the label boss of the mighty Dress 2 $weat records, and alongside Rustie and Hudson Mohawke he's a key player in Glasgow's thriving urban rave scene. Having released some of 2008's most compelling dancefloor smashers from the likes of DJ Tameil, Debonair Samir, DJ Deeon, Starkey and Piddy Py, Jackmaster has exclusive access to the world's sickest ghetto musics. A flawless selection combined with Jackmaster's lightening fast mixing is guaranteed to keep the dancefloor healthily moist.

FRANZ & SHAPE (RELISH RECS, ITALY)
Franz & Shape are the Italian deejay/producer Francesco Spazzoli and the sound engineer Chris Shape, releasing on Headman/Manhead’s label Relish Records. Their musical influences come mainly from the new wave and electronic scene of the 80’s. Their live performance is characterised by their unique slamming electro touch with synths and samplers. The first track of Franz & Shape “Countach” was released in February 2005, in the lucky “Italian EP” (Relish). It is also featured in some very interesting CD mixes, such as 2 Many Dj’s’ “50,000,000 Soulwax Fans Can’t Be Wrong”, “Misch Masch” by Freeform Five on Fine and Mixmag 2006 mixed by Soulwax.

The two spanish DJs have been rocking the london underground clubbing scene for the last 5 years. Their sound is a journey through warmminimal house and techno.
