Bringing the over the shoulder boulder holder action to the Herbal dancefloor we are very happy to bring two floors of motion potion alongside SAMURAI.FM

Herbalism takes on the stance of radical bringer of all things electronic as we play bi-monthly host to Samurai.FM (www.samurai.fm) and walk hand in hand on the ground floor with the worlds leading online radio station.

Headlining downstairs we have one of the most innovative gentlemen of the UK dance scene; A GUY CALLED GERALD and the WORLD PREMIERE launch party of Gerald’s new label SUGOI RECORDINGS.

Globe-trotting Gerald who is tainted with the gift of introducing the future is responsible for UKs first acid house hit “Voodoo Ray”,
the 808 State smash ‘Pacific State’ and, with his own label Juice Box for stretching the boundaries of Drum and Bass further than any of his contemporaries in 1995 with the groundbreaking Black Secret Technology. With a new atmospheric album released recently on German label !K7 and work evolving from a Berlin base, another chapter of this inspirational gents musical life will be played by the man himself tonight at the UK launch of SUGOI RECORDINGS previewing some of the future funk tech we can all look forward to. Where do you go after you’ve cemented UK house’s foundations and then helped spawn the first unique genre in UK dance music: jungle? You move on.

Upstairs we are also bringing the classic throng of boogie action fashion from RICHARD SEN, THE IDJUT BOYS & SEAN P.

Richard Sen is currently recording under the name Padded Cell and releasing for Eskimo Records, D.C Records, and his own Mixed Blood. A single on Depth Charge Recordings will be released in Sept/Oct. Watch it!

The Idjut Boys are recording for Tirk Recs and busy doing re-edits for their own Cottage and Noid labels. Sean P is widely regarded as
'The Knowledge', Sean has released compilations for Strut, Harmless and Z Recs and is responsible for the 'Disco Not Disco' and 'Disco Spectrum' compilations. Alongside Joey Negro he runs the edits label 'Better Days'.

Musically, expect everything from: Rock, Soul, Funk, Boogie, Disco, New wave, Electro, Breaks, Techno and bass heavy House obscurities.
