Yes, that’s right, the rumours are true. On May 1st 2009, Pete’s 50th makes a triumphant return to the infamous VISIONS VIDEO BAR, DALSTON.
After last months location issues, the Pete’s 50th legal team have been locked in meetings night after night in Mangal in an attempt to bring you what you want…and the breakthrough was made last week over a bowl of cacik and a mixed grill….
And mamma mia is it a breakthrough….

10.00 – very, very late……
£5 contribution or send us a really good joke and we’ll let you in for £2.50
We are extremely excited to present for a Dalston Debut, the hottest new dons from the mighty DFA stable;…..
Cage & Aviary
Part man, part machine, part cockatiel, Cage & Aviary take flights of fancy whenever they can. Jamie Paton is a DJ, a one-finger keyboardist, and a pot-tickler. Nigel of Bermondsey is a musician, South London’s finest oscillator, and a dedicated dabbler. Together they are winners of the cosmic lottery.
Having put out releases to mini acclaim on the ltd editions that are Dissident Distribution, they are now set to spread their wings with new ventures lined up for Paris-based Astro Lab Recordings, London's Tiny Sticks, and NYC's mighty DFA. Also underway is a series of ltd remix 12s on their own ‘The Walls Have Ears’ imprint
Please, check them out, amazing man….

In support we have the one and only….
Simon Morell
No bullshit, DDD has been responsible for bringing some of the best parties to London in recent times. The main man there is SIMON MORELL. It’s our pleasure for him to take the reigns and close our bank holiday tear up.
Simon's forte is in being able to perfectly judge the pitch of a night then bend it to his own will taking it to profoundly unexpected and uplifting places and it is this unerring ability which has seen him secure the patronage of the likes of Ralph Lawson, Loco Dice, Alex Under and Andrew Weatherall.
2008 saw him smash the decks at the Garden Festival Croatia, Mulletover & Eastern Electrics warehouse parties in London, visit Ibiza one to many times and of course his beloved residency at DDD. 2009 promises to be just as big with gigs penciled in at Trml Birmingham, Circo Loco and his return to the Garden Festival London. We will also see Simon step into production with his first release on his new label p e o p l e l i k e u s.
Local celeb and general legend, we’re looking forward to Si closing the party in his own upfront style.
Worth a mention is this months DDD which is next weekend….it’s shaping up to be a killer do with La Pena….. and the Pete’s 50th army will be showing their support, medallions on, pants down. Check it out….
