Retrospective House Music
Enzo Siragusa (Fuse, Circo Loco)
Kaleb (The Zoo Project, Fuse)
Following it’s hugely successful launch in April, which saw the cream of London’s underground house scene push out the classics through to the early hours, Game returns to it’s newly refurbished Soho home, The Player, on Thursday 4th June for a much anticipated second round.
Dreamt up as a mid week breather to the endless array of underground London club nights, and reminiscent of the golden days of the house scene, where ibizan workers lounged ecstatically next to a hifi on a Balearic beach, Game’s ethos is an attitude disco, soulful and classic house packed love-in for the cities clued up crowd. Musically educated, boundary free, cool and fun, Game is an outlet for even the most techno enthused club kid to deeper into house music’s heart, and more importantly, get down with their friends, cocktail in hand, to some forgotten gems, some long standing classics and some forward thinking quality house music.
This time round, and back for another go at working the crowd with his exceptionally diverse record bag, is Enzo Siragusa. An integral part in one of East London’s most popular new cult parties, Circuit and Fuse, Enzo is already a name that regularly crops up at the biggest parties around. His high impact sets filled with storming deep house and techno tracks leave little doubt as to his talent and ability behind the decks, and his love of the scene and the crowds that go with it have set him sharply on course immeasurable success.
Adding to the line-up this month is Kaleb, one half of exceptionally talented production duo Nic&Kaleb, and Ibiza/London underground scene regular. As a duo they have not only produced some blinding tracks to high acclaim, but have shared deck space with the likes of M.A.N.D.Y and Dan Ghenacia as well as holding residency at London party, As If. Add to this, regular appearances at huge Ibiza parties the likes of Carl Cox, and The Zoo Project who have invited them to hold residency this coming season, as well as Fuse, mUmU, Circuit and As If in London, Kaleb is without doubt a name to watch out for in the future.
With free entry for all, a cool but welcoming door policy and an endless selection of cocktails on offer, Game provides the perfect excuse to stay out on a school night. A pre-weekend warm up, or mid week break from the same old post work bar, come prepared to dance and be taken back to the roots of house music; a sense of community, an all out party atmosphere and, most importantly, jaw dropping tunes…
