ROCKIN’ HEADS PRESENT MSG @ GRAPHIC, 4 APRIL 2009 8pm-3am

Rockin’ Heads Productions is a new music promotion and production company dedicated to bringing together a dynamic blend of revolutionary electronic music, post-punk disco, and house music superstars. The Company brings together some of the most well-connected and experienced PRs in the industry while also creating a melting pot of DJs and Producers with sound technical knowledge and a strong understanding of the underground scene.

We’re hosting a small gathering we named MSG (after the highly addictive substance found in many fast foods) at Graphic featuring music from Mark Moore, Jeko and Leonardo Glovibes on April 4th to showcase the kind of sounds we’ll be putting out at both our nights and on our label, Rockin’ Records.
We decided to have our first event at Graphic because it is a smartly designed intimate 200 capacity venue with a small dance floor, a well constructed cocktail list and a few large reservable seating areas. It’s also rather conveniently located in Golden Square off Carnaby Street in Soho. It kicks off at 8pm and goes on till 3am.

Mark Moore

What can we say about Mark Moore of S-Express other than he is a legend amongst legends? His unique blend of “electro-disco, electro-rock, twisted house and whatever else he fancies playing to express himself” makes him genre-defying and keeps us wondering what the hell he is going to do next. Utterly brilliant.

Jeko

Jeko is Simone Frendo and Sergio Liguori. Their music is a mishmash of funk and punk fused with electro beats. They recently opened up for Steve Aoki and the Bloody Beetroots on their Dim Mak tour of Italy and their refix of Octave One’s Black Water is rather tremendous.

Leonardo Glovibes

Leonardo Glovibes cut his teeth playing in clubs all over Italy, Europe and the US now has a residency at Ministry of Sound and has developed his own individual style of electrotech. Cod Liver Oil in various remixed guises can be heard in clubs from Krakow to Ottawa. Immense.

Rockin’ Heads monthly night, Hot Mess takes place on 17th April at new 400 capacity venue Ghost on Farringdon Road from 10pm until late and features Cagedbaby, Mark Moore and Leonardo Glovibes.
