DJ Pete is the alter ego of Scion Versions' Substance. Pete has been an integral cog in the Berlin techno machine for over 15 years, producing seminal dub techno classics for Chain Reaction alongside Vainqueur whilst holding down a lengthy residency at Tresor.
His day job at Hardwax has put him in touch with the freshest techno known to humankind and his current residency at Berghain allows him to test his tools on a very willing audience. This is the first time Pete has visited Manchester to play a solo DJ set and we expect it to be amazing.
Our dubby buds from Meanwhile Records will set the pace for the night with a special selection of smokin' house and techno from their ridiculously deep collections.

Tue, 05 May 2009Cheers psychotomimetic, like I said it was a hazy experience, which was mainly down to the fact that I was having too much fun. I guessing one of the residents came on between Murmur and Pete and hence my drunken confusion.
