Taking things back to the spirit of 92 when it was about love, underground parties and Aciiiiiiiid Loosekaboose teams up with [THE BOX] for a one off party @ The Cross for the best minimal, tech house and techno Sydney has to offer. With a continued emphasis on supporting local talent, we introduce two of Australia's most internationally respected producers Kriece (20:20 Vision) and Dopamine (Title Fight) with the return of Mad Rackets Simon Caldwell and Loosekaboose new comer Carlos Zarate (Thug Records). Loosekaboose or [THE BOX] don’t need any introduction so we'll introduce the people spinning those old wax records.
Hailing from Perth, Kriece has chosen to work with the likes of Jeff Bennet & James Zabiela, releasing tracks on 20:20 Vision, Renaissance, Dieb Audio and Loosekaboose’s favourite local label, Junkbeats. Over the years Kriece has supported DJs such as Sasha, Digweed, Cattaneo & Zabiela, playing at gigs around UK and South America, including Cream Fields. We are more than a little proud that he's chosen to forgo all that and come and get his hands dirty in the Cross. Kriece's Bio.
While most prominently known for his uncompromising breaks sets and productions, what many people don't know is that Dopamine is also a techno DJ, releasing minimal and techno tracks with Madox on Italys highly acclaimed Hell Yeah label. Dopamine has had huge amounts of support from John Acquaviva, Chris Liebing, Oliver Giacomotto and Meat Katie, Matt will be playing in [THE BOX] lounge alongside [THE BOX] residents. Check out Dopamines techno credentials here.
To the present day Simon has rocked the dancefloor of practically every venue and clubnight in Sydney. He has pitched his skills alongside dozens of internationals, including Derrick Carter, Jeff Mills, Derrick May, Richie Hawtin, Metro Area, Steve Bug, Claude Young and Jamie Liddel. Resident of the freshest and friendliest underground parties in Sydney, Mad Racket, Simon continues to push new ideas and influences while still being able to draw on the history of his expansive and discriminating record collection.
Joing the guests will be Loose Kaboose residents, Jimi Polar and Claire Morgan, and resident [Boxers] Jimmy Posters, Defined By Rhythm, Michael Doney, Trinity and Jay Smalls
