Saturday 12th November
HERBALISM presents WWW.SAMURAI.FM
More of the viva indifference style that’s cutting the publics mustard!
With tonight’s line up of deep, Techno, hard edged and experimental House backing tracks, we all know this means only one thing… its time to move!

The bi-monthly residency with the worlds leading online radio station www.samurai.fm continues. The two floor ho-down of full on beats and wobbly efforts makes a stand for the East End crown of hard hitting funk.

Headlining tonight downstairs we are proud to bring STEWART WALKER who produces and performs electronic music. Originally from the U.S, he now lives in Berlin and has performed extensively to fans around the world. His discography includes releases on Tresor, Nova Mute, Force and M-Nus and runs Persona - a label with which Stewart Walker consistently releases distinctively edgy future focused techno. ??While it is true to say that a piece of music never sounds the same twice, Stewart has made this edict his trade mark performing, producing and playing live on stage, stretching the limits of his hardware set-up to reflect and provoke club audiences to its emotional limits. When it comes to music and technology Stewart never seems to put a foot wrong - this is what he had to say about technology in his music:??"You have infinite choices in the studio and if you give yourself infinite choices on a stage you run the risk of hanging yourself. So designing a live show for me when I am performing is about giving myself enough possibilities to make the show as live as possible without giving myself so many possibilities that I lose track of what I'm trying to do and at the same time lose the audiences attention. So I use a completely different set-up in my live show as I do in my studio and it's because I want insane complexity in my studio but I want things toned down a little bit more when I'm doing a live show so I don't forget what I'm trying to do or where my fingers are trying to go. If you think about how an instrument works say a guitar or a keyboard, your fingers can get comfortable with what they're supposed to do just through motor memory, I needed something equivalent for a live performance environment."

Supporting Stewart downstairs are samurai.fm superstar residents, east side party pushers The Future Sound of Clapton along with Maxxrelax.

Upstairs we are very happy to bring back a sonic alliance from way back when, as two of London’s premier DJ’s slip on their dancing shoes once more, please put your arms in the air for the very deserved COLIN DALE & COLIN FAVER. The Dale and Faver partnership was one of the Kiss 100 main slots for many, many years and was a guaranteed mind warp. On the occasions when they did play together, outside of the radio stations walls, it was a treat for the more electronically minded of the general public and therefore quite daring in its own way. Nowadays Colin Faver very rarely makes DJ appearances while Colin Dale recently launched his own Rebel Audio Recordings.
They will be joined by the superb GUIALLME from Paris also.

If the sound of deep, deep happenings and high topped frequencies gets your body rocking then this is one of the best nights in London and not to be missed.
Make it happen!
