Flame in harness with Minimal addict are proud to present MAXIMIZE, another storming party to round off your Saturday with the finest electro minimal and techno beats!
For this party FLAME is proud to present GLIMPSE live , one of the most prolific and brilliant dj-producer in London .
Glimpse is Christopher Spero and was started in 2002 with Kompakt.
The next few months will see Christopher release the 'Drifting E.P. on Carl Craig’s Planet E Label, as well as a new E.P. on Glimpse Recordings, a collaboration with Compost's Jay Shepheard, entitled 'The Lions Share E.P.' During 2009 he will also be composing his debut studio album on Four Twenty Records entitled 'Runner'. As well as touring with his live show with dates already scheduled in North & South America, Japan and Europe.

From an early age, Christopher Spero had an interest in jazz, blues and techno, performing in several bands and releasing electronic music on various U.K. based labels under different aliases (Attic, Olek, and Spero). He then studied sculpture at Central Saint Martin’s art college until 2000, after which he started up Glimpse Recordings with Kompakt. Glimpse is one of a few UK labels to be distributed through the Cologne-based company.

Last August, Christopher released the Black Collections album in Asia, which lead to two sell out tours in Japan in 2008. This was followed by the Raum Mix' and further tours of Asia & Brazil.

Glimpse’s % black series tracks have been regular fixtures in the boxes of Carl Craig, Luciano, Ricardo Villalobos, Marco Carola, Loco Dice, Jay Haze, Francois K, Richie Hawtin, Magda, Jeff Mills, Troy Pierce, Konrad Black, Laurent Garnier and Adam Beyer amongst many, many others. Many of the tracks have been signed to numerous compilations including Richie Hawtin’s Minus imprint.

The line up will feature also JULIUS (bread'n'butter) JAMMA (maximize), FRAP (maximize), plus flame and minimal addict djs resident.

Two years on and it's still a popular party, maintaining its underground status and building a friendly, international crowd of regular people through A-on-the-street promotion and line-ups that reflect what's going on in the electronic music scene in London. MAXIMIZE crowd are music lovin' party people but without pretensions: they've always worried less about the name of the person behind the decks and more about whether the records played are rocking the place. This is a party that you really cannot afford to miss! MAXIMIZE.
