Music People are excited to bring you LA beat conductors Villains for their ever first Australian tour. Villains will be playing an exclusive live set at Sydney’s premier music club, Candys Apartment, on Friday 22nd May.

Villains have been making quite a stir in the club-banger scene worlwide with their killer tracks and remixes, spreading their noise from underground to the mainstream. They’ve repeatedly hit #1 on Hype machine, #3 on itunes and are responsible for the highest selling remix of Britney Spears “Circus”, so this is a great opportunity for Sydneysiders to see Villains do an intimate club show, as no doubt their return trip will be for festival sized events!

The production/DJ duo consisting of Mad V and Koncept met back in 2002, and after years of appreciating one another’s production style they decided to team up, hit the studio and craft some beats together. Just a few months of churning out bootleg remixes and some original tracks they started receiving requests to DJ the world over.

They’ve have come a long way in a short amount of time, with high profile official remixes of Britney Spears, Lykke Li and Bloc Party. They released their first EP “Birth” this past February and are set to release more dancefloor-wrecking original tracks straight after this Australian tour.

Villains play Bel Air Miami at Candys with support from Hey Now, Elmo is Dead, Tourists & more.
