Presided over by resident DJs Psychemagik and Cherrystones, Over The Moon is a new monthly jam dropping some of the finest worldwide cuts from the past and present - Cosmic Disco/Italo, Bollywood, Synth Rock, Kraut, Electro-izms, Brazilian Bullets/Tropicalia and Psyched Out Soul.

May’s guest DJ Beppe Loda and his 80s club Typhoon was responsible for giving birth to the fashionable ‘Cosmic’ style of DJing. Playing to as many as 7,000 people a night, producing in excess of 200 mix tapes and pioneering the ‘Italo Synth’ sound with his MC1 project, he has just about done it all. Beppe was renowned for expertly beat-mixing the most obscure and diverse selection of records imaginable to create a futuristic fusion of punky new wave, percussive world music, German electronics and chugging disco. His attention grabbing mixes were traded on tapes by underground music fans and range from being propulsively danceable to disorientatingly woozy with their combination of chugging tempos and tough percussion.
Over The Moon’s future highlights include Joel Martin (Quiet Village), Richard Sen (Bronx Dogs/Padded Cell), Thomas Bullock (Map of Africa/Rub ‘N’ Tug), Tomethy Furse (The Horrors) and Cedric Decoster (Libre Ambience).
