Belfast is back!
Is Belfast really a reunion party for all the veteran rockers who need that occasional fix of yesteryear, or is it just old music for young ears?
Whether you’re from the old or the new skool, there’s far more to it than that. I’d say it is a celebration of dance music roots, warehouse party beginnings and days were all you needed was a last minute word of mouth to get your backside to a warehouse ‘rave’.
Belfast reminds us of yesterday’s underground purity. A vintage milieu that is enjoyed by young and old. A record box full of anthems like ‘We Are Phuture’ – Phuture, ‘Papua New Guinea’ – Future Sound Of London, and ‘The Only Way Is Up’ - Yazz.
Belfast is a time when you see people like Rich:)e Rich and Will E Tell enjoy themselves like I’ve never seen them do anywhere else. You can just see it in their smile and the way they play with the crowd. They have an absolute ball and that same level of enthusiasm sweeps the rest of the crowd.
This tenth instalment of Belfast will again transform QBH into an old skool arena fit for young and old.
You can Pump Up Chicago in the main room with Rich:)e Rich, Will E Tell, Sean Quinn V’s Kcee, Steve Robbins, Mark James, Simon Coyle and Andrew Marsh.
Take a trip from London to Berlin with DJ Neo, Gavin Martin, Astroboy, Jayse, Knipe, Seth, Simon Digby and Jeremy K.
Or get ready for Brooklyn In The House with Peril, Phil K, Brewster B, Khalil and Scott Finemore.
Belfast 10 will also play host to yet another battle of onstage Flares, Windmills, Headspins and Freezes. Breakdance warfare is back courtesy of Archie and the crew from the Wicked Force Breakers.
Just like previous Belfasts this one is going to be a night to remember. Don't miss this chance to again relive those heady days of yesteryear!
