Wed, 16 May 2012Bullshit.

Anyway, I think the problems some of the tourist cause are largely due to alcohol, not weed. If Clarke really thinks this law will solve this problem he is an idiot. Look at the alcohol problems in the UK.
And this policy could affect the club scene, as it damages the liberal image people have of Amsterdam. By the way, this policy does not only affact anyone who doesn't have a Dutch nationality, but also the Dutch, since they have to become a member, and there aren't enough... More

Btw lol at the 'I've seen some art while I've been there' argument. Jog on.

what world are you living in? ugly and chaotic? ive heard many different descriptions of the city but nothing like that, yeah parts of it are rough/run-down/grimey like any city in the world, but amsterdam is a beautiful city!

and oh yes, i forgot no one actually does anything but smoke weed in amsterdam, the museums/gallerys/shops are only open for the fun of it,... More

Tue, 15 May 2012The time it was allowed was enough for a growing culture to develop. Those who want weed will eventually get to it. I agree with Clarke in the sense that Amsterdam has grown to be viewed only as a city of ganja. Though I fail to see why he finds the city to be beautiful, it's a fucking ugly and chaotic city.

FACT present an hour-plus mix of mostly original material, leaning towards grime and funky from the UK newcomer. Barebones rhythms and unsettling atmospheres are the order of the day.
