We're not quite sure what to make of this one. Apparently there's been a documentary made about Ricardo Villalobos, premiering at this year's Venice Film Festival, featuring footage from Panorama Bar from clubland documentary filmmaker Romuald Karmakar.
From the YouTube description: "Shot with official permission at the famous Berghain Club in Berlin (Perlon Night@Panorama Bar, 05.09.2008), at the Closing Partys of Cocoon@Amnesia (29.09.2008), Monza@Privilege (02.10.2008) and SONAR 2006. The film focuses in long interviews with Villalobos on how he thinks, how he hears and how he produces his music. After the films 196 BPM (2003) and BETWEEN THE DEVILA AND THE WIDE BLUE SEA (2005), Karmakar's VILLALOBOS is the last part of a Trilogy about electronic music and club culture in the first decade of this century."
Serge Verschuur makes a welcome appearance on RBMA Radio's Fireside Chat series to talk about the many, many different facets of the Clone operation while music from his labels provides the soundtrack.
