Mon, 13 Aug 2012uhhh what is wrong with the term 'electronic dance music/EDM'?

isn't that what the majority of you on RA are listening to? music that is made with electronics that you can dance to? aka EDM? why so desperate to distinguish yourself from people who listen to mainstream music????
