Thu, 24 Jan 2013Assuming you're talking about Come To Where I go, I'd agree that track was incredible. His Alma 12' (from 08ish maybe?) was also so good. Would be good to hear more from that guy.

Thu, 24 Jan 2013Yeah I like the concept, I just feel like they're executed increasingly terribly with each release especially considering how beautiful the Gas covers were all those years ago. It's a petty complaint, giving this one another listen at work now and it's so good. Favourite release of the year so far and the best Pop Ambient since the 06-08 wonder years.

Wed, 23 Jan 2013Font is wack, but I always liked the flower covers for their overtly synthetic representation of something we otherwise think of as natural. Or maybe that's the mushrooms talking...

Wed, 23 Jan 2013Not sure I'm prepared for more Aguayo vocals, but otherwise I'm eager to add this to the stack. And since we're logging favs, my vote is for Dirk Leyers's track from the '06 installment.

Wed, 23 Jan 2013The last couple were average and I'd almost given up on them. Glad I didn't. The thing I always liked about Pop Ambient is that so many ambient releases these days hide behind some sort of concept, these releases seem purely interested in sound and nothing else. They seriously need to rethink their covers though. Still with the flowers and the shitty font?
