| #12 / Wed, 14 Jul 10 00:19 (Edited: 15 Jul 10 03:40) This album has more than a few surprising moments- not to mention several sophisticated dance numbers that would safely fit into many sets. In my opinion, it's the best thing to come out on Perlon in recent memory.
Compelling and memorable, it stands out even in the current landscape of improvised/live techno.
I doubt many listeners will consider it a failure, they're more likely to remember it as one of the most interesting releases of the year. That said, I prefer the subdivision of the vinyl edition to the continuous mix of the accompanying CD.
