I didn't realize this podcast would be so controversial. :\

Could not be more into this mix. Dirty, dirty street bass. Oh, and watch out for the Phillies!

| #23 / Mon, 26 Apr 10 13:25 Not into this sorta thing at all, Im hoping theres not too much of a pattern emerging with all this dubstep, but hey; thats just my opinion. I thought FaltyDL RA.170 was excellent but this just seems to be stepping to far out of what I thought RA was about, maybe im wrong but like I said this is only my opinion.

| #32 / Mon, 26 Apr 10 16:04 dubstep is hitting a "second wave" - this is an interesting article that talks about it, and starkey is listed as one of the essentials of this new dubstep sound:

Give the Thomas Fehlmann one a spin if you haven't already.

| #38 / Mon, 26 Apr 10 18:55 I love Starkey. I commented on on the Kuedo Podcast that I hope we get Starkey soon - didn't have to wait too long since. Thanks RA & Starkey (how about Joy Orbison soon) Starkey's mixes for Art of Beatz , Fact and XLR8R and Live at Various are really worth tracking down and listening too also.

Thomas Fehlman was pretty good I wasn't too fond of this mix either. Starkey is a great producer, and has had a wide range of sounds released over the years. This mix is more Grime than Dubstep.

Give the Thomas Fehlmann one a spin if you haven't already. Oh yeah, I never miss a mix. It was good. But I still didn't groove to it like Tensnake. Been loving the techno mixes though.

| #48 / Mon, 26 Apr 10 22:21 (Edited: 26 Apr 10 22:49) Ok let me start off by mentioning that i'm not the biggest Starkey fan because I can sometimes find his sound sorta annoying (I think most of you are suffering due to this lol) Firstly, the intro was pretty damn sick I have to admit and I was listening expecting the worst and was pleasantly surprised to see that I was enjoying his quickfire mixing and transitioning. He went through 5 tracks in like the first 10 mins and that honestly kept me interested (The transitions at 9:20 and 17:20 were just amazing) The way he's weaving through the sounds is full of energy and character and I have to give him props cuz im bobbing my head to this shit hardcore and i'm not even strictly a dubhead. Hey, you don't have to like him or even listen to his music but you have to admit he fully showcased what he's about with devastating effect in about an hour. Give it the full listen ppl!! Shits hardcore.
PS I went crazy when he dropped gimme some more, now thats true class.

All depends on the audible picture your trying to paint. This mix is so dope btw haha can't believe i'm enjoyin it.
