| #4 / Thu, 01 Jul 10 17:48 That's really sad to hear about the girl, but it's disgusting that their making an example out of everyone, because an underage girl got into a rave and wasn't careful with what she put into her body. Naturally, the drug killed her, not her negligence. Also, those health warnings on the effects of MDMA are way overblown, and the way they described how she died (the sudden increase in electrolytes due to the COLD WATER caused the MDMA in her system to make her body get all confused on what the hell was going on and didn't allow her body to process it correctly? so she passed out? what?) is just absurd.
It's tragic, really, and they probably shouldn't have allowed 185,000 people to be at the rave, but what did they expect? People overdose on liquor by the droves at similar events throughout the world, and hardly an eye is batted.

The LA Times just published an editorial advocating banning electronic music events.
Fukk the whores @ the LA Times.
