Urban Tribe - Loyal Opposition cover
RA Review
Remember when Planet E used to release records that did more than act as dance floor fodder? Either do I. While Carl Craig was out doing shows with a classical pianist and a dub techno legend, his beloved imprint has been busy pumping out 4/4 club music. No big deal, of course. But it does seem stra..

I was thinking the same thing. no mention of how different "Insolitology " is compared to the rest of the up-tempo material. and should't it be "neither do I"?

Where does the reviewer get the idea that 'Sherrard Ingram brings Moodymann, Anthony 'Shake' Shakir and Craig along for the ride' from?

From looking at the info and the labels over at discogs it seems all tracks are written and produced by S. Ingram except B2 Insolitology, that's by somebody named Mariska Neerman, who can be found on this myspace page: http://www.myspace.com/mariskaneerman

This review is factually incorrect. Shake and Moodymann do not appear on this release. The writing credits on the release are very clear. A casual look at the very label of the release posted right here alongside the review would bear this fact out. How could the reviewer miss that?

There is the new Urban Tribe album out these days on Mahogany Music, which does bring together the talents of these 4, so this is probably reason for confusion.

Ah, beautiful record. Loving B2 especially...
