For real... He wasn't happy pissing everybody off with the Aril rip-off so he had to come up with the most obnoxious title he could find. What a complete joke! Ugh,

Be careful what you say though. Aber will be on here threatening to sue us all.

| #8 / Wed, 14 Jul 10 19:58 (Edited: 14 Jul 10 21:02) I like Shlomi and all but damn that's an incredibly lame and unoriginal title. Also, why are there four previously released tracks on this album? When there are only 10 in total? But I fail to see how Shlomi copied Basic Channel's Phylyps Track II. I'll actually be honest and admit that I only recently discovered that track. Do you know what my first thought was when I heard it? I thought, "man, there is a lot of techno being made these days that sounds exactly like this!". Radio Slave's track that was the B-side to Tony Lionni's "Found a Place" on Ostgut Ton comes to mind, among others. I also never felt that Efrat was a copy of groove la chord. Sure ,they are similar in concept but they are definitely not the same track at all. I shrugged, reading the original discussions that argued against Mr. Aber, as I felt that many people had let their own hearing deceive them. I mean I had people with musical degrees listen to the samples and confirm that while the ideas were similar, they were in no way the same track. Also, I found this quite interesting, but on Beatport, the "Shlomi Aber Chunky Dub" of his track, "State of no One" has been replaced by something else. I don't know when this happened, but I wonder if this is what he meant by the version that was actually supposed to come out in the first place (if you recall his RA interview, he said the B-side of that record was released by accident - I don't see why that would be so hard to believe). Anyway, check it out: https://www.beatport.com/en-US/html/content/release/detail/132357/State%20Of%20No%20One

What one was that again? this one: www.junodownload.com/products/1349799-2.htm shlomi aber - state of no one (dub) = basic channel's - phylyps trak II + brothers' vibe - feelin' house pretty much a mash-up sad that this low quality individual has now forever linked himself to my hometown and the second city. sacrilege with a side of blasphemy

| #12 / Wed, 14 Jul 10 22:21 This guy is a total hack and he most certainly did sample groove a la chord, you'd have to be deaf not to catch that. It only confirms that fact more when you listen to his rip off of Phylyps Trak II.

If you steal from one why wouldn't you the other and to touch the holy grail of techno, absolutely no respect.

I didn't recognize it because it's in my iTunes as Brother's Vibe - Feelin' House (Edit). Legitimately, that's what I thought it was.

| #14 / Wed, 14 Jul 10 23:33 I actually know the case of the basic channel issue closely as im related to renaissance , that was not Shlomi Aber remix , it was originally supposed to be a itamar sagi mesh up for the track ,which never where supposed to be released , but the label mixed it up and released the wrong mix , that was fixed after 2 days all over the digital shops , if you looking for Shlomi Aber's real mix's you can find it on the vinyl itself , that has been released 2 weeks before the wrong digital release, with the same title, but totally different track , nothing related to basic channel. Of course you can find it also on beatport etc.. as that was fixed 2 days after the wrong release, the problem was that after 1 day when the release was out in the wrong format , the hackers already spread it around all over the net in soul seek , emule etc.. as a wrong release . The label released a press latter back then to explain the situation and to clear it all up . As part from the label I can only apologize once again.

| #15 / Thu, 15 Jul 10 02:48 Why is it still up on Juno for sale listed as it is now?
In any case, it doesn't change the fact he stole "Groove A La Chord" and anyone who doesn't hear the original sample isn't listening. If Aril Brikha came out and made the accusation he had to be pretty certain his music was stolen, I don't think someone like him would make all that up. I grew up on that song and could pick it out anytime I heard it, when I first heard Shlomi's song played I thought it was an unreleased remix but no, no credit, this was the case of one artist stealing from another.

| #16 / Thu, 15 Jul 10 03:24 (Edited: 15 Jul 10 04:40) Look, what difference does it make what his album is called. An artist can call his album anything he wants to because it is an artistic expression to what is meaningful & important to him. Chicago House and Detroit Techno are both meaningful to him. Plain and simple. Instead of hating on him, just take it for what it is. Music. He is not running for office or trying to screw your girlfriend. You don't have to buy the record if you don't like it. So quit hating on his ass, because it makes no sense and you just sound lame. The scene is small enough as is, so instead of hating, pick up a midi keyboard, macbook, and an MPC, and go make some music..

| #20 / Wed, 21 Jul 10 15:00 Whatever the case may be with his alleged plagiarism, Be As One has put out a ton of decent records over the last couple of years and I think one should at least show some respect to Aber's work as a label boss.

| #21 / Tue, 21 Sep 10 15:05 Who cares what an LP is called. Obviously he's influenced by Chicago and Detroit, which a lot of electronic producers are. His tracks are good for the floor, and some may sound like some other tracks, but that's art, music and influences. Butch's 'No Worries" is one of the biggest songs of this year. Underground and commercial house and techno dj's alike all played the hell out of this song which samples and hacks 90's NYC house and 1st Choice' "No man put asunder". But, nobody gives Butch grief for his plagiarism influence. I'm looking forward to hearing this LP regardless of the hype of what the LP is called.
