| #1 / Fri, 30 Jul 10 09:43 Great interview.
I remember going to Tyrant at the Bomb when I was 16/17 - an amazing club and you can definitely feel the same vibe in what he does at Fabric week in week out.
Much respect.

| #6 / Fri, 30 Jul 10 10:55 Massive respect for Craig and another brililant interview Todd. He's one of the few DJs I still make an effort to catch even after seeing him countless times, always on the money and never standing still musically. Also looking forward to that album

| #7 / Fri, 30 Jul 10 10:57 Great interview. In this world where everyone's trying to be the next superstar dj it's nice to see a man that's content with what he has and what he's doing.
He's been instrumental in making fabric the place it is today

| #8 / Fri, 30 Jul 10 11:26 Don’t think Richards is a good warm up dj, the interview is very reflective of that with certain distinctive points that stand out. But knowing the music industry there’s many unworthy talent looking for fame, money and glory deficient of humility, waiting in the passages for his day to come at Fabric and take that key slot. Honest, open hearted life application interview though, one of the most revealing on . with this insightful verdict to lock it all down. “The people that are the happiest are the ones that seem to know themselves, and are certain of what they need.”

| #9 / Fri, 30 Jul 10 12:18 Amazing and very honest interview, most definitely one of the best in RA so far. Craig's philosophy of life and his attitude are super-cool. Fabric is what it is because of him and Terry Francis, not the "superstar" DJs who come to play there. Most guest Djs who come to play in Fabric have the ability to play a deeper set exactly because Craig's deeper, personal sound made that possible. People like Ricardo or Steve Bug found in Fabric a fertile ground and were able to cultivate their sound their until people globally managed to realize and absorb it. Withouth Craig's influence, withouth his deeper and more twisted take on things and withouth Fabric's amazing soundsystem, that might not have been possible. We all owe to Craig! A true artists above all. Respect.

I've been to Fabric loads, mate. It's a proper good place to go for a dance if you like dance music. They play all sorts of dance music there. It's really great to go and dance to it all...on loads of Methylenedioxymethamphetamine, of course! LOL

| #19 / Fri, 30 Jul 10 15:43 (Edited: 30 Jul 10 16:09) I love Craig Richards,
I went up to The Bomb on the bus from Leicester for my 18th birthday, Tyrant blew me away. I stopped listening to drum and bass and got into deep house and techno instead.
Wicked club, full of people absolutely off their faces prowling around the white caves they had in there for rooms.
Cheers Craig!

| #21 / Fri, 30 Jul 10 16:42 Amazing interview, thank you RA! Craig is definitely my favourite DJ and more often than not is the highlight of any trip to Fabric no matter what guests are playing on that particular night. I think I've had more "what the fuck?!" moments during a Craig Richards set than anyone else. I have the biggest amount of respect for this guy.

| #23 / Fri, 30 Jul 10 17:22 Really super interview. I'm fully impressed with Craig's modesty and his perspective on life. Love the shot of him on the bench next to the headless baby doll on a wire wearing hot pink socks. I can just imagine the photographer planning that shot.
Still have my copy of Craig and Lee's first Tyrant mix CD and still love it. It came out at the height of trance and progressive house and global underground was pumping out overwhelmingly euphoric mixes and Tyrant was stunningly groovy yet restrained in comparison. Totally through me for a loop when I first heard it. Over the years though each track on it has stood the test of time.

| #29 / Fri, 30 Jul 10 21:59 (Edited: 1 Aug 10 04:26) Craig is the man. Definetly one of my favorite DJs and have learned alot from our friendship since day one when he first played for our Blkmarket Membership party in 2007.
Great interview and an amazing person. Tyrant for me was the game changer.

| #30 / Fri, 30 Jul 10 22:43 Great article and Read, have seen a couple of interviews with Craig before and He has always come across as a top guy, this just cements that. Great outlook on life too, humility, respect and convictions plus the strength of mind to stick with them. Oh, and he is, to me anyway, what Fabric is all about, yea Ricardo et all take the plaudits, and rightly so, but without craig richards they would probably not have been playing there in the first place!! I doff my cap in his direction

| #37 / Sat, 31 Jul 10 12:27 I've been into Craig's thing for what seems like an eternity. The best parties of my life (pre-Fabric) were his Georgie (and Baby Georgie) parties - the best music (and finest looking women . Did anyone go to Tyrant at the End? That was amazing too. Remember he also did Malibu Stacey with Seb Fontaine back in the mid 90s - didn't he? Had some good nights in there, but I'd leave it off my CV too Love his innate sense of style. Always have

| #42 / Sat, 31 Jul 10 16:34 I don't listen to much tech house (or whatever you want to call it) anymore but Craig always seems to be up to snuff and his first Fabric mix is still one of the most perfect mixes I have ever heard. Craig has a great attitude and I don't expect he will ever go away. Great interview by Todd.

| #44 / Sat, 31 Jul 10 23:29 great interview! Big respect for Craig, my favourite dj. the guy is so modest. still remember the first time i went to Fabric..Ellen Allien, Radio Slave + Tiefchwarz were all amazing, but didnt have a clue who was this guy djing at room2 playing some mindblowing music. had to take a picture of him and ask around who is this man lol His first Fabric mix is still so good. Fabric wouldn't be the same without Craig.

Nice shot.
To be honest, there are so many things that he says where you just think "how fucking refreshing this guy is" There's something so quintessentially English and eccentric and cool about this guy - and how come he looks younger now, than he did back in 97/98??

| #50 / Mon, 02 Aug 10 01:23 great interview. seen him last week and he was unreal once again. fabric 01 and tyrant 2 are among my fav cd's and still get multiple plays.
