| #0 / Thu, 28 Oct 04 18:21 If you are a lover of sublime you should prepare yourself for a big one this Friday night as Guy Ornadel returns to smash the Voodoo dance floor.
Guy Ornadel is known as one of the UK's premier DJ's and has had regular residencies and gigs at some of the nations most prestigious superclubs and also leads a globe trotting life style travelling all over the world for his many international gigs. Throughout his musical career Guy has been influenced by DJs such as Sasha, Digweed, Junior Vasquez, Dave Seaman’s sets at Cream and Renaissance (in ’91), and the legendary Tony Humphries. He is described as one of the leading Trance DJ's.
Tearing up Voodoo alongside Guy Ornadel are Nik Fish b2b Amber Savage, Peewee Ferris & Jumping Jack. Cargo will rock up top as residents Kate Monroe & Matt Roberts go back to back and Dave Malcolm hits the decks until daybreak. Elroy, Kemuri & MC Losty will be giving you a taste of phat breaks in Beat-fix. Ritual and R-Son churn out dnb & hiphop in Sublounge.

| #2 / Sat, 30 Oct 04 11:16 and you heard him play last... when exactly? Wouldn't "that style of music ain't my cuppa" have been a more truer comment to write? eh? B_j ?

| #3 / Mon, 01 Nov 04 16:52 I've yet to see Guy play a set but I remember a few years ago he headlined a God's Kitchen tour here in Sydney and by all accounts he nailed it that night. Would be very interested in hearing him but Sublime is not a place I would want to see him or any other DJ.

| #6 / Tue, 02 Nov 04 00:03 Home itself is a great club but Sublime as a club night lost its appeal a very long time ago. It may be your favourite club and I'm glad you and your friends have a great time, but it's not mine and therefore I wouldn't want to see any DJ playing there, international or otherwise. If Guy or Ferry or whoever played somewhere else, eg Space, yeah, I'd more than likely go see them especially Ferry but not at Sublime. It's that simple...

| #8 / Tue, 02 Nov 04 00:31 In my opinion, Space is a great venue. Will be spending NYE there and can't wait. But like all venues, it just depends on how it's utilised and that depends a lot on the promoters and their relationship with venue management. As yet, I've never been to a bad event at space but these have been run by either the Sweetchilli or Sounds crew (or both in some cases).

| #10 / Tue, 02 Nov 04 00:40 It's just a venue and the style of music depends on the type of event that it's being used for.
