A legend in every sense. A really deep thinker but never pretensious or aloof, not even that concerned with maintaining a fake veil of 'anonymity' (check his great blog.) Just lots of talent, a good attitude and brilliant music.

DJs need to fuck with people more. Even DJs who are playing great shit are mostly playing it safe themselves. It's very rewarding, from experience, to blow the minds of those who get it, and make those who don't head for the hills. It's pretty much what I strive for when I DJ, while playing nothing but records I love. And when i'm hearing a DJ, I want my mind fucked with. I want to turn my head and say "oh man, what the fuck ...yes!" So, respect to Surgeon and Regis, and anyone else who could care less about playing it safe.
