'Onze expert heeft resten van benzine aangetroffen,' zegt parketwoordvoerder Paul Van Tigchelt. 'Een daad van vandalisme lijkt in dit geval onwaarschijnlijk.' Veel waarschijnlijker lijkt het dat de brand een wraakactie was van een ontevreden feestganger. Volgens personeelsleden die liever anoniem willen blijven, maakte een bezoeker eerder deze week nog een scène nadat hem de ingang tot de discotheek werd geweigerd. Hij dreigde dat het personeel van de discotheek niet lang meer in de zaak zou werken, en dat hij de dancing zou platbranden. De politie onderzoekt dat spoor grondig.
Claiming the fire was lit, they found petrol. Apparently some clubber who got refused was threatening the bouncers and saying he'd burn the place down!

Capital was one of the few remaining clubs over there that could breath a genuine atmosphere, especially on Sub Scape nights.
Thousands of years of written human history and still we haven't learned to control our ego problems, well at least not all of us apparently. Rumor has it the person that did this watched Scarface a couple of times too many.
