 | RA Review For once, the PR blurb has got it right: This comeback single by Juan Atkins is truly an "event." There are thousands of electronic music releases every week, yet OFI stands tall and proud, and that's before we've even considered the music itself. What's the reason for such reverence? Well, withou..

| #4 / Fri, 10 Sep 10 00:48 You are sleeping on Update by Model 600, Brophy. It has been *eight* years since he released anything notable.
This is a good record.

| #7 / Fri, 10 Sep 10 19:44 Thanks for tip. Wasn't into the A side or the remix, but this B side is some serious D-town funk, a nice update to a classic sound.

| #10 / Sat, 11 Sep 10 12:34 He did some stuff on New Religion a few years ago,Back to Basics 1 and 2 i think they were called,oh and an excellent double EP on Tresor in 2003 if memory serves"The Berlin Sessions". Now i'm no Carol Vorderman but that is distinctly less than a decade ago! Sorry for being pedantic.

| #12 / Sat, 11 Sep 10 16:03 (Edited: 11 Sep 10 16:11) Dated? Really? There are score of tracks done with Juan, Martin Bonds, Derek May and so on that never saw that light of day, first of all. Second, the double album on Tresor...Berlin Sessions....this R+S release falls in line with that sound created by Juan and Pacou. Dated? I hear the classic foundation of Juan Atkins mixed with influence of Drexicya, Martin Bonds, DJ Skurge, and Urban Tribe and UR....which is today......on the tracks. Give it another listen. THE BUTCHER MAD MIKE IS OFF TO BATTLE....I CAN REST NOW www.detroitfightclub313.com

| #14 / Sun, 12 Sep 10 16:00 Ah, I think the last 2 tracks might be mixed up on Juno? I thought that Huesca was out ages ago as a free download, and it sounds alot like what is on Juno as the Mad Mike mix of OFI to me..that said (maybe I'm wrong), AWESOME sounding stuff, and awesome to see R&S back.

| #15 / Mon, 13 Sep 10 00:41 this is not a bad EP. it is just not a great one either. i am not sure it needed to be released.

| #21 / Fri, 17 Sep 10 09:42 Mad Mike rmx is definitely the winner for me. Also, 'Atkins hasn't released anything notable for over ten years.' I'd disagree. The last Model 500 12' (which most people seem to have forgotten about) was really brilliant, and prob better than anything on this imo Outer Space
