RA Feature
Small set-up, massive music. RA discovers how just a modest amount of gear has propelled the Hessle Audio co-founder to a position among UK bass music's foremost names.

This is excellent! I've been purchasing a lot of Pangaea stuff recently and its always nice to read about the creative backgrounds of my favorite producers.

Fantastic producer, and a very nice feller to boot. His remix for Commix is going to wreck heads. Big up.

Another fan of his music here. Love this feature by the way. It's a great way to find out more about the creative process (both the mental and technical aspect of it) behind some of these talented artists.

I dig this dude, he's one of my favs too.... seems honest about his limitations & works around & beyond them; " it ain't what U have, it's what U can do with it " .... and he's done great. Buying a lot of shit, learning it, & getting quality product takes time. I know too many folk who do it just 4 braggin' rights, don't even use/or know how 2, are broke, or music suffers 2 the point of it's not even half good.... Smoke & mirrors, man, Smoke & mirrors.

Good read and inspiring to hear him still working with what he knows, not just jumping on what's hot.. he's made some great music, and keeps getting better!

Top man. Resolutely unpretentious. Considering his modest studio set-up it's astounding he can wring the plushest sound designs from his gear - 'Bear Witness' for example. Beautiful.

great interview, very interesting , good to hear you don't need a studio full of gear or to produce brilliant music, not everyone has thousands to spend on vintage synths and the like.

Next @ Kyodai
dope interview, really enjoyed reading that. Some people just have all the gear and no idea.

Inspiring
