| #302 / Tue, 23 Nov 10 23:39 Morons. lol. Hey, Fahad.....do you know what Hawtin used for his set-up? Was he using the Traktor S4? I noticed he's been using different set-ups. If you know, thanks! Party still has me in a good mood.

| #303 / Tue, 23 Nov 10 23:49 What other parties have been better than Black Market in the last six years.......? They have the best artists and the best crowd in NYC. Everyone who was there was having a great time on Sunday. lol. All electronic musik events are undergound except like Pacha and the more commercial vocal type house and trance crap. I hope Black Market rocks for the next ten years. The only thing I can say that is a little different is that some club heads are starting to appear from Pacha or something.....lol. But fuck it, at least they realize where the party is at......lookin forward to future BLACK MARKET events.

| #304 / Wed, 24 Nov 10 00:26 Made Events has had more commercial type events. So does Webster Hall and a couple other spots. Compare those to Black Market and ReSolute.

| #305 / Wed, 24 Nov 10 01:22 Posted by axeldubz First, you might want to try developing some good taste. If the best parties for you this year were BlkMarket parties then you obviously have not lived. Six years ago there were real parties in New York ... now they are very few and far between.
Bunker throws the best parties. Hands down. I am not some "whiney" dude ... I am an artist who knows good music and a good vibe. BlkMarket does not offer this. I gave them one last chance, and it has only gotten worse.
I know I'd rather not be surrounded by a bunch of thugs and meatheads who consistently just push and shove their way through a crowd.
I feel like these BlkMarket parties are filled with fucks that just want to get fucked up on drugs ...
... the likelihood of stepping on someone's foot and almost getting stabbed at a BlkMarket party are exponentially higher than a Bunker party.
Tight wallet? Seriously? The state of our economy and you're going to say that? Everyone is having money issues, so yes, I can gripe and "whine". Maybe someone will improve the system because of it. I am entitled to my opinion.
BlkMarket should be able to handle someone "whining".
I make barely enough money to live and support one other person. I have been taking cold showers for 4 months because I cannot afford hot water and I'm fine with it. Somedays I have one meal. So, yes, $80 is a lot for me to spend on a party. I don't whine....
I have a passion for techno and I have been involved in the scene for years. Seeing Richie Hawtin has always been a highlight, but the scene is dramatically changing.
Minimal techno is the new trance...
6 years ago? lol 2004? How old are you? If you're gonna use the "back in my days" angle, at least go back to the 90's you fool. Yes, I've been to Bunker, good parties also. You're an artist? lol, translation = emo hipster And are you seriously trying to say that Blkmarket parties have thugs and meatheads at them? You have to be kidding me. I'm starting to wonder if you've ever been to a Blkmarket party. Scared of getting stabbed? hahaha Get a job you poor hippie. Stay up in Connecticut land, nobody will miss you.

| #308 / Wed, 24 Nov 10 03:06 I think Richie killed it. I have seen Richie numerous times and thought this time he played much deeper and more heady than the last couple of times I have seen him. My wife, friends and myself had a great time and wish there were more opportunities to listen to bomb music. But I do have to say that the sound in that venue was probably one of the worst soundsystems I have heard in a long time. Blk market, please make sure that the next time you throw a party thatthe sound in the venue is correct and booming from all angles, not just right in front of the stage/ dj setup. Thank you..... Alex

| #311 / Wed, 24 Nov 10 06:28 Posted by fahad_blkmarket amazing how airvenus , t-rek, L3on all signed up yesterday on RA and posted back to back.... wonder if they signed in with the same ip address on RA.
Oh Fahad, stop w/ the conspiracy. I asked nicely for my refund and you're getting angry. the ONLY people who should be upset are the ones who excitedly bought their tix early only to find out much later that there was a huge time change and thus cannot go. I don't about the other people you mentioned but i tried to accommodate myself to this time change but at the end was unable to. This is why i just registered and rightly asked for my refund. t-rek, L3on, and I represent countless ppl who were pissed about the disorganization and would like our refund. No disrespect intended. Thanks.

| #319 / Wed, 24 Nov 10 20:54 Hey Fahad - You guys said you had over 1000 people come out. Lets do the math and you come out with over $40,000.
Why dont you just STFU and refund the people who would like that?
This is exactly why you have such a bad attitude on this board (and others) - you really dont give a shit about the people who come out to your parties!!
how about spending some more practicing on mixing...maybe then u can come up with a mix longer than 8 beats??

| #320 / Wed, 24 Nov 10 21:08 (Edited: 26 Nov 10 14:53) I think showclix issued refund to everyone, timefordonuts first 300 tickets were sold for $ 25 + ours and Richie's comp list was over 200 people..

Seems like you probably aren't too far from your mother's basement yourself...

| #326 / Sat, 27 Nov 10 23:33 First of all, I would like to say that BLM have some serious heavy bookings. DJ Koze, Cassy and Isolee is more or less as good as it can be.
Secondly, keep it underground. To save money and remaining the underground vibe, theres no need to bring over the european djs all the time (its a waste of money). Focus on your own talents (as we do in norway!!!!)
Third - It seems like there are a lot of fucked up Americans attending your events.
