| #6 / Mon, 13 Dec 10 10:49 not a bad list, but I'm not pleased with the order. + I miss some of my favs, kode9's dj kicks, dinky's cocoon mix, king cannibal's way of the ninja, occult symphonic by osunlade, late night tales by cinematic orchestra and disco circus 2 by mighty mouse

| #7 / Mon, 13 Dec 10 10:51 I can't believe RA didn't put in the list the ESP Institute Concentration Vol.1. One of the best things I heard this year.

| #8 / Mon, 13 Dec 10 11:01 Like this poll. I'm going to discover many things. thanks RA But, Just a little question, how can Ewan Pearson do the 4th best compil of the year without being in the 100 poll best DJ

| #16 / Mon, 13 Dec 10 12:55 Martyn, Surgeon, Klock, Hamman & Janson, Scuba and Pearson were the favourites for me, in no particular order.
Still have some compilations to listen to from that pick.

| #19 / Mon, 13 Dec 10 13:41 Martyn, Scuba, Shackleton and D-Bridge all here so thumbsup for their recognition. Haven't heard the Klock yet but will. Mix CD's are declining but there's an uncommonly high level of quality in this list. Which is nice.

| #20 / Mon, 13 Dec 10 13:52 Yes! Berghain 04 is my favorite this year, Ben Klock show us his fantastic mixing skills and how the techno should sound! I'm happy to see amazing Surgeon's Fabric in the top! What to say about Scuba's Sub: Stance - absolutely gorgeous! Excellent Funf and great year for Ostgut Ton at all! Congrats also for dBridge & Instra:mental, Shackleton, Deadbeat, Martyn and Seth! Very nice top RA!

omission may be attributed to a release too late in the year? i pre-ordered mine and my grimy paws havent seen it yet. just started seeing them in-store last week. plus it got pushed back a month.

Shackleton - Fabric 55 Released: 06 Dec 2010 as far as i remember Superlongevity was released around the same time (and that's just online - i bet some stores had it for at least two weeks already).

| #37 / Mon, 13 Dec 10 21:34 I missed the deadbeat mix this year for unexplainable reasons... Checking it out right now, sounds terrific! Also, I very much agree with Ben Klock's masterpiece at #1.
Not too sure about fünf though.. It somehow sounded formulaic and unfinished to me (even though I like most other Ostgut stuff).

| #38 / Mon, 13 Dec 10 22:00 Surprised at the lack of love for Rick Wilhite's Vibes comp. It was released on the label voted #1 and had all previously unreleased shit by Theo Parrish, Kyle Hall, Urban Tribe, Glenn Underground, Malik Pittman, Rick himself, and more. Definitely by far the best collection this year for me, such great variety in sounds despite being "deep house"!

True, never saw them as a compilation rather a series of 12''

| #42 / Mon, 13 Dec 10 23:49 Hmm I don't know why Seth Troxler's mix is number 9. I was really disappointed by this cd, since I really dig troxler's mixes but this one had just no flow and his Fever Ray remix was horrible... Tensnake's mix for Defected could have been a bit higher imo...

| #43 / Tue, 14 Dec 10 00:22 Never really got into the whole Berghain series of CD's, preferring the warmer sounds of the Panoramabar CD's but having listened to sound clips of Klock's effort, think I may have to invest. Yeah, a load of those ain't half bad

| #45 / Tue, 14 Dec 10 01:12 Pretty decent list, although I agree some should have been rated higher and others lower but that's all personal opinion really. It's great to see the thread hasn't turned into a flaming war like the dj top 100 and top labels. Anyway... wish they would at least have included DJ T's fabric mix in there which was stellar, a lot better than optimo's and martyn's one who both highly disappointed me. Need to get Ben Klock's berghain 04.

Troxlers boogybytes is in the post so reassurring to see it up here. Will have to check out Apparrat and Pearson. I was actually a little dissapointed with Marcel Dettmanns Berghain but will def check out Klocks.

| #49 / Tue, 14 Dec 10 09:50 a) smearing yourself with colors seems quite hip this year.
b) just from locking at the cover i could never enjoy the Holden Compilation, it looks terrible - what a relief to the eye Ben Clock is here!
now i don't have any anty-gay feelings or so, but James looks SUPERGAY on this cover. I'm tired of this look - so many wannabe artists look exactly like that atm.
cheers
