| #1 / Thu, 06 Jan 11 16:02 (Edited: 6 Jan 11 16:08) 20 Years of Planet-e Saturday 5th March – 10pm to 6am Ewer Street Warehouse, SE1 0NR We are excited that Carl Craig’s seminal imprint Planet–e is celebrating its 20th Anniversary this year. We’re even more excited that Carl’s decided to invite some of his nearest and dearest to London on Saturday 5th March and have a proper Detroit warehouse party to mark the occasion. Carl Craig is described as a creative visionary, an electronic music icon, an esteemed Grammy-nominated composer, a world-class DJ and an ambassador for his native Detroit. Yet the common thread that runs through Craig’s broad musical canon and creative projects is a resounding fascination with futurism. The 41-year old producer has cultivated a unique path as an artist, entrepreneur and civic leader, guided by his tendency toward forward thinking. No one else can pull it all together quite like Carl Craig. Carl Craig Francois K Radio Slave Paul Woolford Psycatron Live More to be announced Tickets on sale on Monday 10th January. Tickets Available Exclusively via Resident Advisor
VERY LIMITED Pre Sale £10 on sale Friday 7th Jan at 9am
Very Limited Earlybirds £12.50 / £15 on sale Monday 9th Jan at 9am Standard Price £17.50

| #33 / Sun, 06 Feb 11 21:02 Psycatron:2011 is set to be a big year for Irish techno duo Psycatron aka Paul Hamill & Dave Lievense as they take their project to the next level. 2009 Started off with a string of high profile productions being released on some of the world's most respected labels, they received props from some of the biggest names in the business and record sales flying high in the Beatport charts. 2009 began with the Location Unknown EP on Fergie's Rekluse imprint. The lead track 'Takefive' was a huge smash at the Miami Winter Music Conference with everyone from DJ Hell to Sasha (who was closing his sets it with) making it one of the biggest records of the conference. From Belfast to Detroit followed, with the master Carl Craig signing 'Deeper Shades Of Black' for Planet E Communications making them the first Irish artist to appear on the Detroit imprint. 'Deeper Shades' spent 6 weeks in the Beatport Top 20 peaking at Number 5 with only Cirez D, Adam Beyer, Joris Voorn and Sebastian Leger standing in the way of pole position. Check out Psycatron Live on John Digweed's radio show:

| #43 / Tue, 22 Feb 11 16:53 Hello all
Coming over from Jersey to this and was wondering if anyone can recommend any decent pubs/bars nearby to this for a few drinks before hand? preferrably with decent music but to be honest but failign that anywhere with a decent atmospehere and good choice of booze... Staying in Bow but meeting a load of mates so feel a bit cheeky dragging them all back to where I'm staying.
Thanks very much, peace Ben : )

| #44 / Tue, 22 Feb 11 17:20 Hey Ben, Well the pubs in Bow are awful anyway, so your mates wouldn't thank you. Quite a few spots around London Bridge but they're the more traditional variety, unlikely to hear any exciting music. Your best bet, I think, is probably Shoreditch/Old St area. Strong Room on Curtain Rd has a very varied music policy, but on occassion can be great. Barley Mow right across the road from it has a good jukebox. There are shit loads of places in the area, with most places being decidely average, you probably won't go too far wrong. Maybe people will be able to recommend something closer to the venue.
If you're into quality beers and not too fussed about music, you could check out The Market Porter or The Rake, both by Borough Market. Big fan of both, but there's no escaping the fact that Market Porter smells a bit like piss (I think the quality of their ales more than compensates for this, but I'm an ecentric).
Sorry I can't think of better suggestions, my mind is drawing a bit of a blank.
Can't make it to C2. Gutted. Have a good one.
