Next @ Klubnacht | #9 / Sun, 06 Feb 11 21:08 guess some samples of it popped up on a number of online record shops for the presale, if you really can't wait.
it's pretty ridiculous, to say the least. definitely an insta-buy, and i have an odd feeling my neighbors are going to want to murder me.

 | RA Review Tommy Four Seven recently complained to RA that "techno [right] now is really fucking clean and it's not really like it's played in a warehouse." A great quote, but the Berlin-based British producer's debut album is a stronger statement of intent. Primate throws away the traditional techno toolk..

| #20 / Thu, 12 May 11 12:32 really well and cool done, love that industrial feel, but I do miss some tones/melodies in it. would be a good contrast to have it on a cpl of the trax, as aphex does it for example,,,

| #33 / Fri, 13 May 11 21:18 This album is and must be considered as one of the top 50 albums of 2010. His concept was clear and simple. I dont know exactly what his goal was before recording but whatever it was.....thank you. There is beauty in decay. There is beauty in the past. A smile came across my face when I heard the first song/track. I was reminded of the night playing on the bill with Adam Beyer in Detroit, warehouses in Detroit and Toronto. For those who appreciate techno and hard techno....it is for us. For those of you that got Speedy J and Chris Liebing album.....this is for us. For those of you that like Trent Reznor, NIN, Terrence Fixmer, Adam Beyer, Drumcode, Permanent Damage........this is for us. I dont know if Nilz mastered the album but, WHOEVER did the mastering......excellent job. I promise.....I promise that if I get this album on vinyl.....I promise that I will pound the speakers and subs and make sure the mixer is in the red WITH VERY LITTLE BOUNCE. This is love. This is fun. The soul of techno is not dead at all. THE BUTCHER www.detroitfightclub313.com NOW ON SOUNDCLOUD..........

| #39 / Sat, 21 May 11 01:03 Watch for this guy. Really pushes the envelope with the sounds he uses. Very creative in using unconventional sounds for percussive effects. Love his stuff, always sick.

 |
| #40 / Sat, 28 May 11 01:32 Defo worth more than a 3.5. Suppose it depends on which Techno camp the reviewer resides. From a DJ, Learning producer and ravers stance it's just a killer album easily a 4 maybe even 4.5.
One of the best and I'd say definitive techno albums of the last few years. The man has stuck his neck on the line with this one and tried to do something most can't achieve. He's actually made something conceptual and that really is different from anything other artists are putting out.
Keep it up Tommy I say! Look forward to the evolution of this sound

| #41 / Tue, 31 May 11 00:34 I agree that it is a bit of a challenge to listen to it all in one take because it does get samey after a while...

| #44 / Sun, 17 Jul 11 00:39 I'm listening to it now and I'm quite enjoying it. Decided to have a search what others thought. '[A] challenge to listen to'... I'm sorry but it's just not. Within 2 foot of my typing fingers are copies of various Throbbing Gristle vinyls many times more 'challenging'. I've heard better. One recent release that comes to mind, the B side of the Rrose on Sandwell. Blew me away. But like I say, I'm enjoying it. 3.5... yeah.. You'd have a fairer scale 1 through 10. The final track 'Armed 3' is the best of the bunch for me. Likely to play British Murder Boys ahead of it mind...

| #45 / Sun, 17 Jul 11 00:47 Ahhh.. sorry misread concerning 'challenging'. "...it does get samey after a while". I suppose it is what it is. It's all right when you're head's a bit jangled.
