 |
| #6 / Wed, 23 Feb 11 17:43 I see that the lab has 'seperate entrance' marked - does that mean you WON'T be able to walk through (inside, beneath Berghain), like you could on Silvester? Would love to see Steffi and nd, but also like the look of the stuff in both other rooms too...

| #10 / Wed, 27 Apr 11 20:05 @ prosumer. it looks on the berghain site as if larry heard is goin to open the night at the early timeslot, is this what will be the case? him at 6 or 9 in the morning seems the recipe for instant goodfeel mayhem if you ask me.... not as opener.

| #15 / Mon, 02 May 11 09:53 Soundstore = Soundstream, and he was in top form, along with all the other Sunday DJs. They decided not to open the garden due to the weather, but let's cross our fingers for next week...

| #16 / Mon, 02 May 11 10:22 By the way, it's a bit off topic, but for the past six months or so, an abandoned building that looks like it used to be part of the train yards next to Berghain has been renovated, and now it's almost complete. You can see a picture of what it used to look like here. This would be an incredible location for a small club, art gallery, etc. Anyone know what's planned for it?

Last winter some people held some little festival there with ghosts etc? No idea what the purpose will be. Only in berlin.

| #19 / Mon, 02 May 11 12:34 I wouldn't be surprised if the Berghain people have something to do with this. The windows they put in look similar to the ones between the dance floor and the bar area in Berghain, and the whole aesthetic of the renovations is very Panorama Bar.

| #21 / Mon, 02 May 11 23:46 The vibe during Tyree Cooper's set was unlike anything I've ever seen. He was playing really soulful, jacking music, and the crowd was euphoric. Also, Eric D. Clark popped in for some live vocals on a few tracks. For me, the other high point was Hunee when he went into disco overdrive toward the end of his set, before steering things back into classic house territory.
My only complaint is that a couple DJs (Soundstream, Hunee) were playing way too loud. It's really too bad, since the tracks themselves were great, but the sound quality (not to mention our hearing) really suffers at those volume levels. There's a sound level meter in the DJ booth with a clear warning about maximum decibel levels. Why do so many DJs ignore it?

Last time(SD Night) in Berghain as well the whole night and when the resident closed the night everything was set to normal clear level again. Louder is not better...

| #23 / Tue, 03 May 11 08:24 Totally agree with you on Tyree, went crazy during his set.. Old school feelings on a Sunday morning. He was the man of the day for me but also the others didn´t disappoint. Tama was a nice surprise for a short period in the afternoon as well. It was a dream line-up and one of those parties that keep Pbar my all time favorite club. Didn´t see any daylight besides from the shutters once in a while but don´t regret.. Prosumer can be proud of his release party, for me the best party of the year until now.

that's what we've been thinking as well.. unless it's someone wanting to live extremely close to their favourite club. definitely one of the best sundays i've had in panorama bar for quite a while. i usually divide my time fairly evenly between berghain and panorama, but tama, steffi, soundstream, hunee and nick had me glued to that dancefloor. highlight was hunee.. really great vibe!
